Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 6, 2026

This policy explains what personal data Kima Group Ltd collects when you use the Reblock extension and the addreblock.com website, why we collect it, and what rights you have. We keep data collection to what the Service actually needs.

1. Who is responsible

Kima Group Ltd is the controller of the personal data described here. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, write to support@addreblock.com.

2. What we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we process:

  • Account data β€” your name, e-mail address, a hashed password (or the identifier from the social login you chose), and your language preference.
  • Rewards data β€” your balance and the reward events behind it: ads shown, surveys and offers completed, referral relationships, and adjustments.
  • Payout data β€” the PayPal e-mail address or wallet address you enter, the amount, the method, and the status and history of your withdrawals.
  • Technical data β€” IP address, browser type and version, extension version, device type, and timestamps of requests. This is used for security, fraud prevention and troubleshooting.
  • Aggregate blocking counters β€” such as how many ads and trackers were blocked. These are counters, not a record of the sites you visited.
  • Communication β€” messages you send us by e-mail or through support forms.

3. What we do not do

The filtering engine runs locally in your browser. The content of the pages you visit is not sent to us, and we do not build a profile of your browsing history for advertising.

We do not sell personal data.

4. Why we process it, and on what legal basis

  • To provide the Service and your account β€” performance of our contract with you.
  • To run the rewards programme and pay you out β€” performance of our contract with you.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents β€” our legitimate interest in a working, honest rewards programme.
  • To improve and troubleshoot the Service β€” our legitimate interest in a reliable product.
  • To keep accounting and tax records of payouts β€” compliance with a legal obligation.
  • To send you marketing e-mails such as the earnings digest β€” your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link.

5. Who we share data with

We share only what is necessary, with:

  • Payment providers (for example PayPal or a crypto payout provider) β€” to send your withdrawal.
  • Survey and offer partners β€” a pseudonymous user identifier and, where a campaign requires it, coarse information such as country or device type, so that your completion can be credited.
  • Infrastructure providers β€” hosting, database, e-mail delivery and error monitoring, acting as our processors.
  • Authorities β€” where we are legally required to disclose data, or to establish or defend legal claims.

6. International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by adequacy regulations or by appropriate safeguards β€” the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (or the UK Addendum to the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses).

7. How long we keep it

Account and rewards data are kept while your account exists. After you delete your account we remove or anonymise your data, except records we must retain β€” in particular payout and accounting records, which are kept for the statutory retention period.

Technical logs are kept for a short period only, typically no longer than needed for security and troubleshooting.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these, write to support@addreblock.com.

If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority β€” in our case Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, United Kingdom.

9. Cookies

Our website uses cookies that are necessary for it to work: a session cookie to keep you signed in, a cookie storing your language choice, and a short-lived attribution cookie that connects an installation to the referral or campaign it came from.

We do not place third-party advertising cookies on our website.

10. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 16. If we learn that we hold data about a child under that age, we delete it.

11. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections, passwords are stored hashed, and access to production data is restricted to the people who need it. No system is completely secure, but we work to keep the risk low and will notify you and the authority where the law requires it.

12. Changes to this policy

We will post any updated version on this page and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the product or by e-mail.
